Dr. Htet Khant is the proud owner and dentist at Beachwood Dental in Los Alamitos, where he brings a warm, patient-centered approach to dental care. Born in Burma and raised in Singapore, Dr. Khant moved to Los Angeles in 2013 to pursue higher education and later returned to settle down with his wife after a two-year stint working in Texas.

He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Sciences from UC Irvine, where he was awarded the prestigious Regents’ Scholarship. His passion for dentistry was sparked during his undergraduate years while shadowing his uncle, a practicing dentist. That experience confirmed his calling in the dental field—a moment that has guided his professional journey ever since. Dr. Khant continued his education at the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he received the Dean’s Scholarship in recognition of his academic excellence and commitment to patient care.

Dr. Khant is passionate about creating positive dental experiences and finds joy in collaborating with his dedicated team to bring smiles to patients’ faces. His patients appreciate his approachable demeanor, clinical expertise, and the welcoming atmosphere he fosters at Beachwood Dental.

Outside the office, Dr. Khant enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Dr. Vivian Chan, a podiatric resident at Long Beach Memorial Hospital. Together, they love exploring all that Orange County has to offer. In his free time, Dr. Khant can often be found on the golf course, playing guitar, or relaxing with a video game.

Dr. Khant looks forward to expanding his clinical skills through upcoming training in dental implants and sedation—enhancing the services he can offer to his community in the near future.
