Dr. Todd Emigh is a partnering dentist at Beachwood Dental, working alongside our other trusted dentists to produce excellent care and natural-looking results to his Los Alamitos, CA patients. Dr. Todd Emigh is skilled in both general and cosmetic dentistry, with certifications and recognition for his work in dental implants and Invisalign. He was awarded the prestigious Sullivan-Schein Predoctoral Achievement Award in implant dentistry in 2011. He was trained at USC in the art of Biomimetic dentistry, which uses the tooth's natural form and function to help create natural-looking fillings, and crowns for their patients looking for beautiful results. In addition to his experience with dental implants, Dr. Todd Emigh also performs restorative procedures and treatments like periodontal treatments, dental bridges, porcelain veneers, crowns, root canals, extractions, and dental bonding. Dr. Todd Emigh possesses the skills necessary to perform both general and cosmetic dentistry procedures as well as administer the conscious sedation needed to safely and effectively produce exceptional results for his patients.

Education and Training

Dr. Todd Emigh attributes his success and patient satisfaction to his exceptional education and training background that provided the foundation for him to become a leading dentist in Los Alamitos, CA. He had the privilege of attending the University of Southern California for his undergraduate degree and then following up with his DDS from the USC School of Dentistry. Since then, he has continued his education and knowledge by becoming an Invisalign Preferred Provider in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and an Invisalign Gold Plus Preferred provider in 2017, 2018 and 2019. He also has been trained and experienced in helping diagnose and treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea, giving patients an alternative to the CPAP.

He was peer nominated as a "Top Dentist" in the Long Beach area in 2012 and also was featured as a guest speaker on the television program, The Wellness Hour, for his expertise in cosmetic dentistry. He has also been awarded as an Invisalign Preferred Provider and Gold Plus Preferred Provider for his experience and skills using Invisalign. When Dr. Todd Emigh is not helping people achieve their ideal smile, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Jami, and their 2 beautiful and silly daughters. He also likes to relax by barbecuing with friends and family, spending time in the mountains, staying active with his dogs, playing soccer, and traveling as much as possible when he has the time. He enjoys bad jokes and good songs.

"Anyone who is hesitant about these five stars review, HAVE NO FEAR. I would 10/10 recommend this clinic to ANYONE who asks (or doesn't). I was in town for my wedding and I visited my dentist in the area to get my final Invisalign check/retainers. I also wanted to straighten out my front tooth because it had chipped in the Invisalign process since I used to bite my nails. It made me super self conscious especially since I was going to be taking a ton of photos for my wedding this weekend and it had been bothering me since I got my attachments taken off. I had asked my dental clinic if they could even it out, but the dentist was not in so they weren't able to do anything for me... I was definitely 110% freaking out and so so sad. My dental office referred me to Beachwood Dental and Dr. Todd answered the phone. He so willingly accepted me last minute and really tried to work around my hectic schedule. I was late since I was running last minute errands and didn't expect them to take me so quickly (I called Thursday early afternoon, they told me to come in later that afternoon!). They were still able to fit me in with such warm attitudes and smiles. Dr. Todd, Stacy, and everyone in the office were so lovely, really (& I definitely don't say that lightly). They were able to fix me up (I couldn't even tell the difference!!!) and sent me on my way. I am forever thankful to this awesome team and appreciate you all (even if Dr. Todd is a USC fan...GO BRUINS). Thank you, Beachwood Dental!!!!"
